Our Jewelry
Our unique jewelry is handcrafted from fallen arbutus branches which have fallen naturally. After harvesting the branches from the forest floor, we cut them into discs and sand them until they are smooth outside our woodshop, overlooking the ocean. Each nature inspired design is then carved individually and free-hand on a scroll saw, making each one an original piece of art. A water-based satin varnish is applied and the jewelry completed with the various finishings.
Our art is completed as pendants, brooches or earrings on surgical steel hooks. Pendants can be put on a black or brown cotton cord with a bead and loop fastening, on a black round elastic cord with a bead detail, on a sterling silver snake chain, or on a sterling silver choker-style necklace. The silver necklaces are elegantly presented in a gift box.
